The process in obtaining the MS ISO 9001:2000 certification for CVLB Peninsular Malaysia began in the middle of June 2007 with the formation of ISO Committee followed by a workshop to develop the of CVLB Quality Management System document.

The objective in obtaining this certification is to improve the quality of the Quality Management System in all CVLB offices and it is hoped that it would contribute to the improvement of services to its clients. The scope for the ISO 9001:2000 certification involve the participation of the Peninsular Malaysia CVLB Headquarters and its 4 branches, namely the CVLB Central Region in Putrajaya, CVLB Northern Region in Sg Petani, Kedah, CVLB Eastern Region in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu and CVLB Southern Region in Muar, Johor.

The quality policy acts as a guideline for the employees in providing quality services to CVLB clients.

The ISO LPKP certification process had gone through an internal and external auditing by the Internal Audit body and the certification body SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd starting on 5 December 2007 until 29 February 2008. With the hard work and efforts by everyone who was involved, on 15 March 2008, CVLB Peninsular Malaysia received the MS ISO 9001:2000 certification from SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd.
